No suction-mounted bar should be relied on to catch a fall; this is a stability and balance aid for everyday use, same as other suction bars on the market. For full fall-arrest support, a drilled bar into wall studs is the safer choice.

Smooth, non-porous surfaces only: tile, glass, fiberglass, acrylic. It won't seal on textured tile, grout lines, or stone.
